Another day

Woof... The father(alfa male) came into my backyard today. I couldn't help following him around wagging my tail. I got to meet the jaguar. He seemed nice enough to me, but I don't think he cottons to me yet.

Meow... the storeroom was opened and I love to go inside to investigate around. There is a hole that goes under the house in there. I knew I had better come out when the mom called me. I don't want to get shut up in there over night again. My curiosity still gets the best of me when I see the door open.

The cage

Meow...  My new friend Jaguar, is still in a cage.   I wish he could come out and play more.  The mom says that he is still too skiddish and would run and hide.  That would be fun,  he probably likes to play hide and seek.

Woof... The family still hasn't brought the "Jaguar" over to meet me.  humph....

New Kitten

The mother brought home a ball of orange fluff with no tail.   I thought it was very interesting.  I sat in front of its cage outside and watched it for an hour.  It was scared.  The mom brought it out for me to sniff,  I wanted to make him feel safe so I licked him on the head.  Now he comes up to see me when I get near his cage.  I even shared my food bowl with him this morning.  The mom said she didn't need another cat, but she couldn't resist the cuteness of its lack of tail.  I don't mind , I am easy going and like other cats.  Heck... I even like Dog...

Thanks Cat...  I haven't got to meet the orange fluff yet...

I like to bark
At night is best
My humans
They don't get to rest

I bark at shadows
On the ground
And other creatures
Running round

But when the back porch
Light gets lit
I know its best
That I should quit

I talk softly
And I purr
I can always count
On her

My female human
Gives a pet
And a scratch
Thats a bet

That smell again

I layed down
A nap to take
In the shade
So I won't bake
When to my nose
There came that smell
Of cooking meat...
Oh that was swell
I dreamed I had
A bowl so fine
Of all those treats
Yes, they were mine
I woke , and later
Here she came
To give me some
Oh what a dame!
I had steal from Dog to get my share....

Humans Home

Woof...  Meow..
They left us again
To go and play
Where?  we don't know
But their back today
We were lonely here
While they were gone
But it wasn't really
All that long

The Mom went out
To get the mail
I followed down the way

I stepped in front
Of her walking feet
So she'd stop to hear me say

Pet me now!
Oh human friend
My tummy needs a stroke

She said Oh why
Would I do that
My neck you almost broke

Woof... What sport !

Keep the leftovers coming

Of my meal
I had a taste
I sniffed and licked
Then ate with haste
The meat so juicy
The bone went crunch
Boy, I ate up
All my lunch

Give it a rest Dog...
(by the way I got bacon) purrrr....

Another Hot One

I've dug a hole
Down in the sand
Under a bush
How cool I am

I get lazy
All the day
But when I see bugs
At night I play

The N

Meow... Woof...

Got to thinking
About our name
Thought it best
To add an -n-
The cartoon people
Might be mad
Sueing us
Would make us sad

Good smells

Meow... I spent the last two nights under the house. The mother wondered why she didn't see me. She called me today and I meowed my loudest, and she figured out where I was. You see I like to go into the room attached to the house that they keep the grill in. It is fun to explore. My humans were in and out of it Sat. and didn't know that they locked me in. There is an entrance to under the house, so I looked around. I was very glad to hear the mother call me and figure out where I was. Boy.. it is good to be free.

Woof... They cooked meat outside today. I always know that a treat will be coming my way when I smell that. They didn't disappoint me. Cat got some too.

Humans actually in the back yard

Woof... I love it when my people come into my domain. I want to jump on them to show my affection, but that doesn't seem to go over very well. I am learning real well to not jump and I get more company here. The young boy and girl got into a big tub , they called a pool. I haven't desired to jump into it yet. But if it is every empty I may drag it around the yard and chew on it just to see what it is all about.

Meow... All the noise in the yard yesterday kept me on the neighbors porch. Those loud machines my people were using were not very pleasant.

Meow... The mother came out and I just talked to her while she was here. She tried to answer back in kitty talk. I don't care what she said, it sounded nice. I just went on softly chatting with her.

Woof... She comes to talk to me too. I don't bark, unless it looks like she is still outside and I can't see her.
