Visit to Vet

The mother took me to the vet
To get my yearly shots
They also gave me medicine
Because I had a cough

I loved the new smells all around
I sniffed and marked my way
More friendly people gave me pats
Oh, what a happy day

Little Jag is learning well from me how to get humans to do our bidding. Food on demand. he.he.

White stuff

There was this white stuff in a tray in the carport. Jag stepped in it and left white footprints on the cement. It was hard to get off. He didn't like to lick it. The Mom said it was paint. I don't care for paint.

I almost got away from the men who came to paint the house. But they caught me. Oh well, it was nice to have company. Maybe my human man will give me a walk today....

I ran around with little Jag
He dived under a tarp
He thought he hid from me real well
But, Oh, I'm very sharp
I saw him there, his orange fur
Was showing underneath
He pounced, but I was so prepared
We give each other grief...
So fun!!

Some interesting men were working around in my yard. They gave me a pat or two. I like when people visit me.

Strange smell

Meow... There were some men here the other day. They were spraying something on the house and it smelled bad. Jag and I stayed away for a couple of hours until the smell was mostly gone.

Woof... How come my humans chain me up when they have to come and go out of the back yard alot. It isn't fair. I just want to go and run around the neighborhood as fast as I can then come back later.

Meow... The kitten showed up again. I think he was just hiding next door. He should realize that my humans are very nice and feed me well. A little petting now and then is pretty nice too. Kids.... will they ever learn.

Its raining here today
And wet dog ain't so swell
If you come too close
You'll find I have a smell

Lost... So What

I went walking through the yard
And past the house next door
The kitten followed me around
Now I see him no more

I'm not my brothers keeper
He could've followed me home
But now that he is lost
I am all alone

Woof... I was just getting use to the little dude.

The mother let the kitten out
It was fun today
I thought that I was young again
When he came out to play

I caught him in a headlock
The mother she was warry
But then I licked him on his head
And she knew it wasn't scarry

Woof... what I did today... zzzzzzz

The mom moved the cars out of the carport today and then the kids came out. They were sweeping out the leaves and stuff. I sat close by watching. It was fun to see the leaves fly by, and they scarred up a bug or two. Cool..

Cat was sitting in a strange ways across the fence today. I don't see how he balances up there, let alone is comfortable to stay there awhile. He must not be able to make up his mind whether or not the grass is greener on whose side of the fence.
